This is a song about when my ex cheated on me after we had secretly got back together after my father had passed away. I was trying to tell him that doing that to me whilst i was still grieving had been worse than the first time we had broken up. At least then it had been somehow honest. But to kick me when i was down was terrible and at the time i never thought i would recover.
