Biography
I'm er, a young 30ish, and live in Cambridge, England. I like to record my own music as a side hobby in between keeping down a full time job, bringing up 3 kids, and keeping a house over our heads.
I've played the guitar since I was a kid, and in recent years got into Mac stuff, discovered GarageBand, which has let me put my stuff down in a semi-professional manner for the first time ever. So I bought myself a cheap bass, some keys as well, and this is the result so far. I write all my own stuff, though I've recorded a few obscure covers every now and then.
My preference is for hard rock, guitar orientated music, but I do really listen to pretty much anything and everything. I think If I had to identify my greatest influences, it would be Progressive bands like Dream Theater, and then more old-school metal stuff like Maiden - with some pop-rock and other miscellaneous stuf thrown in!
I have no skill at lyrics or at vocals, and would love to hear someones interpretation of my songs with their own talent.
All of my music is available via my website, at http://www.morks.net
