Biography
Born 1963 in Munich, Germany. I've been working as a freelancing musician since 1980 and as honorary professor of choral conducting since 1995. At the University I'm teaching choral conductors, church musicians and composers, especially composers whose main subject is composing for Film and TV. One of my main jobs is preparing the choirs for the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. Furthermore I'm working with several choirs, orchestras, vocal and instrumental ensembles and try to improve my abilities as a music-producer steadily.
I'm married with my wife Sabine who works as a music teacher and church musician and I have two daughters, Ursula (17) and Anna (14). We live in the town of Germering near Munich and when I'm not rehearsing, teaching or having fun with my family I'm working in my studio in the basement of our house. I know - I should do more sports. I'll start tomorrow, today I didn't work round to it
I've made music since i've been able to touch the piano keyboard ...
learned a couple of instruments - piano, clarinet, sax, guitar, trumpet, singing -
Since March 07 I've been posting on icompositions.com
I try to make my music timeless and overcome limits! Less poetic: I try to work in different genres ...
